Hi-Gear school & sport cones are made in the USA using
non phthalate materials. Most other PVC cones on the market contain high levels of
phthalates. Phthalates (a chemical that softens plastic) are a suspected hormone disruptor in children. Phthalates and lead were banned from products intended for children by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act in 2008.
